The bell tents are 5m in diameter and can comfortably sleep up to 6 people and 8 in the Emperor!. Bell tents were originally used during the First World War and have more recently become a luxurious alternative to camping. We provide mattresses for four people inside each Bell tent. Cooking and heating is provided by one of our log burners included in the price, or alternatively, you can cook on your firepit outside.
The Crooked Willow Glamping pod can accommodate two adults and two children comfortably on four single mattresses, The pod is finished to an outstanding level of quality. It is fully insulated and offers interior/exterior lighting plus 2 usb ports and a 12 volt port for charging mobile devices all from its own solar panel.
A traditional stable block houses showering and toilet facilities and includes a luxury family bathroom with changing area, and two shower rooms. Adjacent to the stable block is the washing-up area. There is a chemical waste disposal point and several fresh water taps around the site.
The Glamping Pantry is our 1950's Horsebox lovingly restored and converted into a facility to make hot drinks and has all the cutlery and crockery needed to make your stay as homely as possible.
All accommodation options come with individual fire pit campfires. We offer campfire tripods and other cooking utensils to make the best possible use of the campfires.
Logs and kindling are also available to buy onsite.
Please be aware that the weather can change very quickly on campsites and the ground can become wet and muddy so please bring wellies with you and warm clothing. We recommend bringing spare clothes for young children as they seem to love muddy puddles!
Whilst we take every precaution to keep the grounds as maintained as possible, muddy/boggy areas may appear.
